VENUE
The 3rd Commission Meeting will be held from 2 to 6 February 2015, in Auckland New Zealand. It will be preceded by the 2nd meeting of the Compliance and Technical Committee on 30 to 31 January.
Both meetings will be held at the Stamford Plaza Hotel in Auckland. For accommodation options please see the link under the Accommodation section below.
The New Zealand Government has provided the following general information for participants.
REGISTRATION
Participants should register for the meeting in advance using the Registration Form.
LANGUAGE
All meetings will be conducted in English. A two-way Spanish translation service will be provided.
ACCOMMODATION
Auckland is hosting several international events around the time of the SPRFMO meeting. As at 24 November, the Stamford Plaza has informed us that the hotel is fully booked for the period of the CTC Meeting, but that a limited number of rooms are available over the period of the 3rd Commission Meeting.
Other accommodation options for Auckland are available via the Auckland Tourism website (click on "Auckland Accommodation"), there are several other quality hotels available close to the venue.
TRANSPORT
Delegates will be responsible for organising their own airport transfers.

ELECTRICITY AND POWER
The voltage in New Zealand is 230 volts single phase at 50 hertz . The standard domestic connectors and sockets are New Zealand standard type 198, 10 amp, flat three pin common only to New Zealand and Australia. You will need an RJ45-type plug to connect your laptop to a computer socket in New Zealand, and an adaptor with a flat two or three pin power plug to connect to the power supply. There will be facilities at the meeting venue for computer use and access to the Internet.
