First SPRFMO Performance Review 2018
In January 2018, at its 6th annual meeting, the SPRFMO Commission adopted Decision 06-2018, which sets out a process to establish a Panel Review, criteria for the review, a timeline for the process, and terms of reference that shall guide the Panel's work.
Final Report and Commission Response
The Final Report of the Review Panel, with its conclusions and recommendations was presented to the 7th Commission meeting in January 2019.
The 7th Commission meeting developed its initial responses to the Review Panel recommendations (2019) and during its 8th meeting the Commission produced an annex detailing the implementation of the Performance Review recommendations (2020).
The 2018 Review Panel
As specified in Decision 6-2018, Members and were called to appoint experts to comfort the panel. The Panel is to be composed by four international independent experts, with two being nationals of SPRFMO Members and two being external to SPRFMO.

2018 Questionnaire
The Review Panel, led by Dr. Penelope Ridings, made available the first SPRFMO Review Questionnaire, which was circulated to Members, CNCP's and Observers, through G39-2018. Responses to the questionnaire were invited before the 6th July.
