CMM 20 Electronic Monitoring Standards 

CMM 20 (Electronic Monitoring Standards) establishes minimum requirements for EM domestic programmes, EMS, and EM data that shall apply when EM is used in SPRFMO fisheries to fulfill the data requirements of SPRFMO CMMs. The objective of the SPRFMO Electronic Monitoring Programme (EMP) is to enable collection, via EMS, of verified catch and other data related to the conduct of SPRFMO fisheries in the SPRFMO area of competence in order to facilitate the collection of verified scientific data and additional information related to fishing activities in the Convention Area and their impacts on the ecosystem, and also to support the functions of the Commission and its subsidiary bodies, including the SC and the CTC.
